Service description

ApartmentIQ provides automated reports on residential buildings in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, based on publicly available data from NYC Open Data, ACRIS (NYC Department of Finance), HPD (NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development), SF Department of Building Inspection, SF Assessor-Recorder, SF Rent Board, LA Housing Department (LAHD), and LA County Assessor. Reports are generated using AI and are intended for informational purposes only.

Nothing in a ApartmentIQ report constitutes legal, financial, or real estate advice. Public records may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always conduct your own due diligence and consult a qualified professional before making housing decisions.

Payment & refunds

Reports are priced at $4.99 per report, charged as a one-time in-app purchase through Apple. There is no subscription. Because report generation begins immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds once a report has been successfully generated. If your report fails to generate due to a technical error on our end, you may request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or contact us at support@apartmentiq.app.

Accuracy disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to present public data accurately, but we do not warrant that any report is complete, current, or error-free. City public records are updated on varying schedules and may not reflect the most recent building activity. Cached data may be up to 24 hours old.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApartmentIQ's liability for any claim arising from use of this service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant report. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
